Andy Bausch - Luxembourg Film Director

A couple of months ago, I was asked by local magazine in Luxembourg, 352 Magazine to photograph Luxembourgish film director Andy Bausch for their "Champagne and Crémant" series. This feature carries a Lifestyle interview with the subject in question, who is asked to bring along 6 objects of importance to them to be included in the photo.

I met Andy Bausch in the restaurant of a hotel in Luxembourg, where I carried out the photo session. He was a fascinating guy to talk to and he explained to me how he started out in cinema and we also spoke of his passion for rock music (note the Rolling Stones album as one of his 6 items). BTW the glass of beer was not one of the 6 !

Here are some additional photos from the session which didn't make it into the magazine. I had fun taking the photos especially the ones in which he mirrored the gentleman in the paining on the wall behind him.

Last portrait session of 2010

For my last portrait session of 2010, I was asked by 352 magazine in Luxembourg to photograph local author Monique Feltgen for an interview that will be published in January 2011. Monique has written a number of crime novels (in German) that take place in and around Luxembourg. Although I am unable to read German myself, Monique was kind enough to sign a copy of one of her books for my wife who does.

Here are a few of the photos from the session that took place in Monique's home:

Hello Everyone!

I finally decided that it was time to get myself set up with a blog to showcase the work of Stephen Roberts Photography and to post regular updates of the projects that I am currently working on.

To get the blog rolling, I will have a look back through my 2010 shoots and post a few examples as a retrospective of the year.

Updates will follow very soon. Thanks for visiting and stay tuned.
